President – Jackie Hilyer

Originally from South Florida, Jackie and her family moved to the area in 2007. This year Jackie will have a Freshman and Junior; both run Cross Country and Track for Denmark! She also has a DHS Class of 22' Alumni in her second year of college at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Jackie helped create the PTSO in 2018 as Communications Secretary, helped with creating the Senior Scholarship and Baccalaureate Committees, served three years as PTSO Co-President and serves on the Denmark Cross Country booster club as Vice President.

Vice Presidents – Flo Valdes and Pooja Bhatamrekar

Flo is originally from Miami, FL. She lives in South Forsyth with her husband and three children. She has a rising senior, freshman, and sixth grader. For years she has served as room parent, PTO leader, committee chair, Denmark PTSO Hospitality and Vice President. Flo is grateful for the warm welcome into the Dane PTSO family and loves serving our school!

Pooja Bhatamrekar is new to Denmark this year, from Cupertino, California. She has a daughter in 10th grade and a daughter at UGA. Pooja works for Infosys and is a teacher at Maharashtra Mandal of Atlanta Marathi Shala. She was a board member of the Indus International School in India from 2016-2017, volunteers at The Isha Foundation and does Mandala art workshops for foster kids through The Shashikala Foundation.

Recording Secretary – Leandrea Voskanian

Leandrea has both, a 12th grade daughter 10th grade daughter and Denmark. She is a substitute teacher within Forsyth County Schools.  Leandrea has served on PTO's, LSC, and been involved in many service projects in our local schools over the last 10 years. Leandrea has served on our scholarship committee for the past two years and we are so excited to now have her as our Recording Secretary!

Hospitality Chair- Whitney Pickens

Whitney is (almost) an Atlanta native. She has two children at Denmark; a son in 11th grade, who runs Cross Country and Track, and a daughter in 10th grade, who is on the Varsity Dance team. Whitney, and her husband Jon, moved to Cumming 8-years ago because they wanted their two children to be in a wonderful school system. She has served as room-mom and volunteer every year throughout elementary school and is excited to reengage with the PTSO at the high school level, as Denmark's Hospitality Chair
